20 Mar Indonesian Master students focusing on Entrepreneurship!
Indonesian Master students from Prasetiya Muyla visted RSM Erasmus University on 16th and 17th of March focusing on the theme: Entrepreneurship 2.0: Good Businessman, Great Investors.

As part of their Study Tours Programme, Prof. J. Jansen, Professor of Corporate Entrepreneurship
at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, taught two sessions titled Business that last; Start today with Managing Growth of Tomorrow! He spoke about his fascinating research on Ambidexterity and explained how Entrepreneurs can apply all the important theories around Business Administration. He explained for example how we can learn what customers want through Artificial Intelligence and Big Data!
Dennis van Iersel, gave the students a crash course on Investing explaining how Entrepreneurs can raise capital besides their main business. In just a 3 hour session he was able to discuss topics like Stock investing, Passive versus Active investing, Technical Analysis, Top-down and Bottom- up investing, Fundamental Analysis, Portfolio Management, Alternative Investments, Cryptocurrencies and last but not least a Case Study! Dennis is a second-year student International Bachelor Economics and Business Economics at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, Chairman of Omega Investments, Member of the Academy Committee at B&R Beurs, Private Equity & Venture Capital Intern at VenturesOne and Incoming Investment Banking Spring Intern at JP Morgan.
The students had to present their findings on a current Business Challenge during the Final Presentations on Saturday. Dr. Magdalena Cholakova, Assistant Professor Strategy & Entrepreneurship at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University and Ghazi Birlan, Owner of Birlan Educational Journey, assessed the teams and gave them some constructive feedback to take home.
