We had the honour to welcome 20 participants from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Lawtotem at  TIAS School for Business and Society from 5-7 July this year.

The programme was designed around strengthening the ties between China and SVGZ_Onebeltoneroad_China_ex1
The Netherlands especially since the One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative was introduced. This article from McKinsey describes nicely how  China is leading the effort to create the worlds largest economic platform.

Business Law from a European perspective

The participants were welcomed by welcomed by Prof. dr. Frans de Roon, Academic Director at TIAS and enjoyed guest lectures around Business Law in a European context  and Mergers & Acquisitions from Blenheim law firm there. Furthermore they visited Philips and Holla Law firm. At the end of their 3 day programme Willem Peter de Ridder, Director Futures Studies & futurologist, gave an inspirational guest speech which was discussed many times over the wonderful closing BBQ in the inner garden of TIAS.

We would like to thank TIAS for giving us the opportunity to co-design this fantastic programme with them.
