25 Sep South Africans leading the transport sector
Fourteen leaders in the Transport industry in South Africa, guided by the CEO and CFO of Transport Education Training Authority and the designated Programme Manager and coach from Gordon Institute of Business Science, immersed themselves in the Study Tours theme Doing Business in Europe and Global Business. This programme took place from the 2nd to the 9th June in sunny Warsaw, Poland.
The programme consisted of Theoretical, Practical, Social and Cultural Building Blocks, which were complimented with Reflection sessions by the GIBS coach.
We would like to thank the South African Embassy in Warsaw, DB Schenker, EnterAir, GFKM, Institute of Aviation (ILOT), Institute of Behavioral Design, I see differently and Public Transport Authority Warsaw for the many inspiring and meaningful meetings and presentations in Warsaw!
This Study Tour enhanced the delegates’ ability and capacity to manage complexity and change, let them explore global best practice trends from leading economies with respect to leadership, innovation, logistics and operations. And last but not least cultivated personal and professional development, thereby increasing the transportation talent pipeline and enabled delegates to apply their learning to support TETA’s goal of fostering economic development and job creation.
