We are StudyTours

 

Study Tours designs, organizes and delivers tailor-made educational Study Tour Programmes for groups of participants with an academic background worldwide. Programmes can include lecturers, company visits, visits to significant cultural and historical sites and dinners.

 

Our Mission

is to contribute to solving business and world issues by sharing knowledge, experience and best practices amongst different stakeholders on a certain topic. We want to spread knowledge and educational excellence through the world. Each study tour from Study Tours is a great learning experience for the whole group. It is not only the interesting business topics participants will learn about during a study tour, also the taste of a different culture, city, people and getting out of the classroom experience is utterly important to stimulate the personal development and ensure new business connections and collaboration opportunities take place.  This is what we find important.

 

How do we do this?

We believe that we can solve business issues and identify new innovations by breaking through standard thinking patterns and existing silo’s. We do this by providing the participants with new insights, ideas and best practices on any preferred theme. Our passion is educating others, in which we excel because of our independence, in-depth knowledge, experience and high quality content. EUROPE: PORTS OF THE WORLD

The port of Rotterdam is the number 8th Port in the world after the Asian Ports. It is however the most enhanced Port in the world regarding operational efficiency, automation and extended land.  During this Study Tour participants will visit the port of Rotterdam and its stakeholders and will be introduced to the political, economical and cultural aspects of doing business in and with the Europe(an Union).

SOUTH AMERICA: SUSTAINABLE ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Sao Paulo & Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

This Study Tour gives an insight in the inequality and poverty in Brazil
and discusses the current situation, challenges and opportunities for
sustainable entrepreneurship. Participants will get the opportunity to
meet social entrepreneurs in the farfellas (slums), which will be a life
changing experience. This Study Tour motivates participants to
become agents of social responsibility, find business opportunities
that preserve natural resources and reduce poverty, and to help
them build a community of stakeholders around sustainable development projects.

Our Team

CEO

Study Tours was started in April 2012 by Roos de Wit-Goedhart. She has a Masters in Business Administration (MScBA) and a Business Executive MBA (MBA)  diploma. Roos is passionate about designing, organizing and delivering Study Tours using her knowledge, experience, skills and network. She knows from experience that Study Tours are very powerful ways to learn business theories and offer out of the box practice grounds.

Robert de Wit

CFO

Robert de Wit MSc. is the CFO of Study Tours. Robert has a Masters in Economics from the Erasmus School of Economics (ESE) at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is highly talented in the areas of financial reporting, data analysis and investment decisions. Robert is profoundly active in the background, helping with different kinds of investment decisions. He is also active at Robeco as a trader in Lending Securities.

Programme Manager

Sebastian Jedraszak is one of our Programme Manager at Study Tours. He is currently second year bachelor student International Business Administration (IBA) at the RSM Erasmus University. Being born in Poland, going to a French high school  and now studying his bachelor in the Netherlands, Sebastian can easily adapt himself to different multicultural environments.

Robin van der Meulen is our dedicated Project- and Programme Manager at our head office at the Cambridge Innovation Centre (CIC) Rotterdam. Robin has a Masters degree in International Management from RSM Erasmus University and is pursuing her CEMS degree on top of that. She excels in managing diverse projects and organizing and managing Study Tours.
